DeAnn Collins Dockery, Owner & Principal

DeAnn Collins Dockery, CFRE, has a 27 year career in fund development, fundraising management, strategic planning, board development and nonprofit administration. A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), she has raised more than $80 million in her career, including numerous 7-figure gifts and 6-figure gifts. DeAnn has served as chief development officer and member of the executive leadership team in education and healthcare charities.

DeAnn has served as chief development officer and member of the executive leadership team in education and healthcare charities. Under her leadership, these institutions have experienced growth in annual, major, capital and planned giving. She has established best practice policies and protocols in the offices in her charge. She has led a 2-person office, has managed mid-sized teams of fundraising and advancement services professionals, and has directed project teams of three hundred-plus volunteers. As a volunteer and mentor, DeAnn has advanced the cause of grassroots community, cultural and arts organizations.
DeAnn served as Vice President for Institutional Advancement, Southwestern College, a Tier One Midwest regional university; Executive Director, Community Hospice Foundation/Vice President of Philanthropy, Community Hospice & Palliative Care; and Director of Development, Episcopal School of Jacksonville, an independent college-preparatory school.
DeAnn led successful capital campaigns at Community Hospice ($20 million) and Episcopal School ($17 million) that were each the largest in the history of the institution, and led the feasibility and design phase for a $12 million campaign at Southwestern.
She has served in numerous volunteer roles and on boards in Northeast Florida and the Midwest, and has presented to various groups on topics related to fundraising, volunteer management, special events, and board development.
DeAnn holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Kansas State University.

Jane Jordan, Founding Principal

Jane Jordan has more than 40 years experience in community affairs, fund development, strategic planning, nonprofit organization administration, corporate social responsibility, corporate foundation management and consulting to nonprofits, giving her a unique perspective. Jane founded Jane Jordan & Associates, Inc. d/b/a Partners With Nonprofits in 1990. The firm has assisted a variety of clients in raising more than $168 million.

Prior to establishing PartnersWithNonprofits, Jane served as Vice President for Community Affairs for Barnett Bank of Jacksonville (FL), now Bank of America, for 10 years, establishing the bank’s corporate foundation and paving the way for the bank to become the leading corporate citizen in Northeast Florida. At the bank, Jane was instrumental in establishing the Jacksonville Ronald McDonald House; initiating Caring for Kids, a program to turn women on welfare into independent childcare providers; Road Works, original fine art on billboards; and many other bank-driven initiatives to meet community needs. The bank received multiple national awards for leadership in the areas of corporate philanthropy, volunteerism, and philanthropic leadership.

Jane served as Vice President for Development and Director of the Foundation for Healthcare of Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville, FL. She facilitated the first million dollar gift made to the hospital outside of a capital campaign; the founding of the Wolfson Children’s Hospital Bass Tournament and founded the hospital’s first targeted physician giving program, about which she spoke at seminars and workshops throughout the Southeastern United States. She conducts numerous seminars and workshops on fundraising, board development, and strategic and fund development planning.

Jane is a graduate of the University of Florida School of Journalism, and completed master’s-level work in public relations at Syracuse University Newhouse College of Journalism.
